All puppies of Australian Labradoodles (before they leave us) are equipped with microchips and european passports. This is a very secure way of identifying the animal.

The microchip is a passive device that requires radio waves in order to be activated. These waves are generated by the special reader.

It consists of an integrated circuit programmed into fifteen digit number. This system measures approximately 9mm x 1.5 mm and is immersed in a glass capsule. When you look at it it looks like grain of rice (measuring approximately 12mm x 2.1 mm).

This unique (in terms of code) identification, does not lose its value over the years, and does not fade like tattoos.

Leashes, fences, closed doors, may at first glance seem a sufficient protection against pet disappearing, but accidents happen. It is true that there is no guarantee that this method of identification will work in one hundred percent of the cases, although the microchip technology greatly increases our chances for return of our lost pet.
